PUBLIC STATEMENT


Since 2022, Crown Melbourne and Crown Resorts (Crown) have been engaged in ongoing correspondence with the Wage Inspectorate Victoria (WIV). This correspondence relates to unintentional errors in long service leave calculations for approximately 300 former team members.  
  
 Crown confirms that it immediately remediated payments to former team members, in consultation with the WIV, once it became aware of the matter. Additionally, Crown has contacted impacted former team members to apologise and voluntarily included an extra 10% to the payments, with remediated payments totaling $469,999.24 
  
 Crown has reviewed its payroll processes and enhanced its compliance frameworks as part of this process and continues to work openly and constructively with the WIV on this matter and its ongoing compliance.
